Out of hours service

When the medical practice is closed, emergency medical cover is provided by SELDOC.

If you need to speak to a doctor urgently, please call SELDOC on 111.

If you require health or medical advice, or information on health or medical services please call 111.


Enquires & registration are dealt with after 9.30 due to high volume of emergency calls and before 6pm due to fewer members of staff.

Home visits need to be requested before 11am on the day of request.

Test Results

Test results are available Monday - Friday, 2.00pm to 6.00pm.

Postnatal 6 Week Check

Appointments for Mother and Baby.

Asthma/COPD, coronary heart disease, diabetes, annual over-75 health checks and family planning

No set clinics are held and these services, they are provided during normal surgery hours, by appointment. Please talk to a receptionist if you would like to book an appointment

Drug & alcohol counsellor

Tuesdays 10am to 3pm

Minor surgery

Procedures carried out by arrangement with the doctor.

Extended Primary Care Service

Community GP and NP (Nurse Practitioner) appointments can be accessed at the Extended Primary Care Service based at the Lister Health Centre.

These appointments can be booked by our practice team for acute needs following a telephone triage if a suitable appointment is not available at the practice.

Bereavement services

When friends and family pass away, bereavement and grief can be full of emotions that are hard to cope with. We would like to extend a helping hand at this difficult time. If you or anybody you know might benefit from talking to a GP about how they are feeling following the death of a loved one, then please do speak to our receptionist who can make you an appointment. All our GPs have access to local services that may be of help, as well as lending a listening ear and offering counselling.
